


Roots: Art & Creative Workshop
We have a new creative workshop coming to Coopers Yard! We’ve teamed up with Jo Mac of ‘Macs Makers & Creators’ to put on an art session that explores the textures, colours and moods of the Autumn season.
A creative calm workshop, perfect for a little ‘me’ time, learn how to create collage art pieces, paper texture, mark making and word association with calming music.
Take everything you make home!
All materials will be provided.
The 90 min session kicks off on Thursday 2nd October and runs from 6pm - 7:30pm.
£25 per person, limited tickets available!

Mac’s Makers and Creators – Terms & Conditions
General
• All attendees must book a place; no observers are permitted as spaces are limited.
• All projects must be completed during the workshop. Materials cannot be taken home to finish.
• Participants are responsible for their own belongings and clothing. Art materials may stain or damage fabric, and the facilitator is not liable. You may choose to bring and apron or painting shirt
• Participants (or parents/guardians for children) must declare any medical conditions, allergies, or learning needs at the time of booking. Particularly when using art materials
• In case of emergency, the facilitator may seek medical advice or treatment if a guardian is not available.
• By booking, participants consent to photographs of the workshop and artwork being used for promotional and educational purposes unless they request otherwise in writing.
Adults (16+) Workshops
• Participants must be 16 years or older. Children may only attend if the workshop is specified as “family friendly” and they are booked in as paying participants.
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
• Refunds/Cancellations: No refunds or transfers within 14 days of the workshop. If the workshop is cancelled due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit will be issued.
• Damages: Breakages or damage to artwork during processes (e.g. kiln firing) are not eligible for refunds or credits.
• Behaviour: This is a safe, respectful, and creative space. Abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour will result in removal without refund.
• The workshops are designed to be exploratory and enjoyable. The facilitator provides guidance but does not prescribe outcomes—each participant owns their creative journey.
